Genetic Codes of Turkish Design
Design and art; is shaping the world and our habits with strong motion, with increasing dynamic and intellectual paradigms. Its traces on culture, production and economy deepens. “Genetic Codes of Turkish Design” selection is created with this awareness; it combines universal creations of traditional compositions within the intersection of design, technology, creative thinking and production.
The Genetic Codes of Turkish Design selection offers a multidisciplinary approach by integrating many creative industries such as craft, fashion, ceramics, glass, furniture, jewelry designs, together with contemporary art, digital art, interactive experience design, game design, architecture, which includes examples from processes of perceiving, feeling, generating creative ideas and producing of designers and actors, who are the most important actors in the process of building an original future.
The exhibition is a selection that combines the unique attitude of the designer and the artist with the different approaches embodied by the contrasts within the curation. It aims to bring fore the economy and export value with a cross-sectoral balance together with the power of Turkish design and art.
The exhibition, taking place under the coordination of the Turkey Promotion Group operated by Turkish Exporters Assembly; presents the traditional structure of Turkish design and art, with a dynamic approach that focuses on modernization and technology to its visitors.
